3D embossed gilding

Welcome to this weeks challenge with the CCEE Stampers team.

Dust off and use your embossing folder/s on your card today.

For my card today I have used the Crafters companion 3D embossing folder. I embossed a black panel of card stock. I then used gilding wax to highlight the raised areas blending old gold and patina. The sentiment was Diesire classiques Thank you die was cut in gold foil card.

Happy Stencils

Today I am sharing the card made for the challenge that I have with a couple of friends each month we challenge ourselves to use our supplies this month it is stencils.

For my card I have used the Altenew Layered Kaleidoscope stencils A & B, distress ink cracked pistachio and wilted violet. I have used the stamp and die free in Simply cards & Papercraft issue 176 along with the honey bee die and stamp sets.

New Beginnings

It is time to join the Crazies team from Crazy 4 challenge for this weeks challenge.

For my card today I pulled out my one and only graduation stamp set. This set has some great sentiments but I found this designer paper in my stash that I really wanted to use so I put it on the inside as well using the Katherine Label Pop-up to add the sentiment on the inside.

Welcome to the challenge with the CCEE Stampers team this week.

                                           Northern Lights - Embossing - White - Sequins

This is my first attempt at the Northern lights techinque, it was great fun and I am sure to try it again. I white embossed my leafy image and then sponged on my colour, buffing the embossing to remove the ink before adding the next colour. I then matted the panel and added the die cut sentiment and sequins as embellishments.

C4C435 May Sketch

Welcome to this weeks sketch challenge with the Crazy 4 Challenges team.

For my card I used the free Altenew layered Rose die set from the Simply cards & Papercraft Magazine issue 174. In the set are 3 rose pieces and 2 leaf pieces I cut these is various shares of card. The center panel is designer paper embossed with the creative expressions Embossing folder by Sue Wilson called Rose blooms. Finally I added the sentiments with the fishtail dies.

Pollen dreams

This week on the CCEE Stampers blog Anne has challenged us to use some of our hoarded paper stock.

My paper is from the Kaisercraft Botanica Collection called Pollen, I have teamed it with one of my favourite bird images with dogwood flowers. I then added the die cuts sentiment with a glaze pen coat for the final layer.

Red Rose in white

Welcome to the CCEE stampers challenge hostess Anne asks that we created a card with red as the theme.

For my card to toady, I chose to use the Crafters companion  Diesire Rose easel die. Using the red card I card a base layer and the top layer to make the easel part in red. I then cut a layer in white with the rose insert. This was cut with double sided tape on the back to create a sticker and then attached to the red card.

The small rose was die cut and layered several times for dimension to create a stopped for the easel.

The Happy birthday on the  front was also layered for dimension with the final layer cut from a piece of shimmer sheetz.

May Flowers

Welcome to this weeks CCEE stampers challenge.
Anne is our  hostess for the month of May.  Since April showers bring May flowers, my first challenge is to fill your card with pretty flowers.

For my card I used the alcohol ink background panel that I created the other week, this time I have used gloss card. I have had this heart die for awhile and I could see it as a stain glass window frame. I die cut my panel into the front of the card and glued the insert back onto the inside of the card replacing all the pieces so that it looks like an embossed panel. On a piece measuring the same as the front of the card I cut another window, I then added acetate to the front panel and glued the extra cover card sandwiching the acetate in between. I then cut the alcohol ink heart and glued it to the acetate and on the inside I added a green die cut to match the card. The sentiment is also die card with the alcohol ink card.
Sorry about the poor quality photo but I just couldn't get it without the green card reflection, I guess it just matches my blog name stamping on greens. LOL
