White on White

Today's challenge on CCEE Stampers was to use white CCEE1425, I chose to create a white on white card, this is actually my first white on white card it is something that I have been wanting to try.  I have used embossing  for the background to add texture and die cut flowers for dimension. I wanted to sentiment to blend in as this is a sympathy card I wanted it subtle. I stamped the text onto acetate with stazon on ink and place it over the ribbon so that it blends in with the flowers. The final touch was to add the pearls.

Head on over to CCEE stampers blog to see what the other designers have come with.

Supplies:
Stamps: Kaisercraft
Sizzix tim holtz embossing folder, mft mini rolled roses die namics leafy flourish, daisy die, ribbon, foam dots, acetate, stazon ink, pearls

Have a great day

  2. I totally love the look of the rolled flowers set against the brick wall, a wonderful contrast. So clever to keep with the light and airy look by stamping on acetate and layering it over the ribbon. I've seen other people stamp directly on ribbon with good results but mine have certainly never been worth using!
